Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I'm lucky that I'll be having a nice, warm Christmas this year! Ah, those lucky Australians!

I know we're all busy this time of year, and I have been! I'm looking forward to writing more used panty selling advice next year, I have a few emails that I'm going to write responses to and post them here, the first will be in late January, so keep your eyes peeled!

If you have questions, as usual, email them to me (or tweet) and I'll answer them here. If you have been wondering about something, chances are someone else has been too!

I've been thinking of doing other things like interviews, but I'm not sure how popular they would be? Hmm...

Anyways, I have to go, I'm exhausted right now and not sure how much sense I'm making.

Take care guys, have a naughty, kinky, dirty holliday season for me, won't cha!? ;)

Hiatus from Used Panty Advice

Hey guys,

A quick note to let you all know that I'm going on hiatus from writing this advice collum until next year as I'm off travelling for the remainder of this year.

Some of you may have noticed it's been a while since I've posted. Partly this is because I've not been getting as many questions as I have in the past. I think this is partly because I've covered most of the big topics. Which I'm rather happy about.

If you have a question though that hasn't been covered that you'd like to see an answer for in January 2014, then feel free to contact me. I've got a little toggle to the right of this page as well as an about page that had contact details listed. There's also a wishlist there for if you've found my advice helpful and want to say thank you with a little Christmas present! ;)

Have a safe Christmas and New Year guys! Watch this space in January.

Question from a #UsedPanty BUYER

I want to buy some panties from a girl. She wants $100 for them though. I don’t even know if she’s real or not how can I tell?
-          Sean

Hello Sean,

Thank you for writing to me, you're actually the first buyer to ask a question and I appreciate hearing from you!

I’m going to assume with the price ($100) is high because you wanted a few extras, as it does sound high to me as most girls seem pretty competitive, even over competitive at times.

If I were a buyer, I would be looking at her ‘paper trail’, is she on twitter? Have a blog? Is she fairly active in the used panties or fetish scene anywhere else? Does she seem interested in ensuring her buyers are happy with her product? Check her out before you approach her so you know what kind of girl she is and so you don’t waste your time or hers if you discover she’s not what you’re after.

Secondly, I’d be looking for testimonials or other buyers you know who buy from her – that’s why it’s great that there’s a used panties community. Check it out and get involved, see what you can find out about sellers in your area, or sellers overseas who you’d like to buy from.

You might want to check out her payment methods as well, as some don't accept adult transactions and that can land you in some hot water.

Does she verify herself as the young lady in those panties? There are four ways that I know of that people use to verify, through Panty Trust, by getting you to verify them (usually charge you), through another third party or by verifying after sale with a few photo’s of them in the panties you ordered. Each way has its pro’s and con’s of course. Panty Trust will be financially responsible if she disappears with your money, however you might want to verify her yourself for your own reasons and be okay with paying a little extra for that, and that’s fine too.

If you've got a question, feel free to shoot me an email (and please be spacific, I've been getting some broud ones' lately, and although I appreciate the interest, it's hard to answer braud questions!)

Aussie's selling used panties online, a question from Alexia

My two questions were;
is it worth it to sell through something like panty zoo if you are Aus based (I'm Melb based too!)

This one is a bit more in depth, I've posted on craiglist and had a few hits, juggling when to wear whose order is becoming interesting, especially in regards to smell and such.
Women tend to smell different at different times of the month and I don't have my period right now but its not at its sweetest....
I'm sure the guys do care somewhat but generally if my panties don't smell great to me will they still like them do you think?

I know that is quite an in depth question... hope you're having a nice break!

Look forward to hearing from you!

Alexa.

Hello Alexa!

Thank you for writing to my Used Panty Advice website.

I’m unsure if you are happy to post internationally, I’m going to answer this as if you are because I can’t see why you wouldn’t be. International postage is cheaper in Australia than other countries. I remember when I lived in Canada, the international postage was astronomically expensive and super slow!

I have not used Panty Zoo to sell yet, although know some other girls do and they seem to like it. To me Panty Zoo is more social than anything. If you want to check it out, feel free to send me an email and I can send you a referral. At the moment Panty Zoo is only open to people who have referrals, in the same way that Gmail used to be.

I had in the past tried to use Craigslist but encountered many time wasters. I hope you’re having a better experience with it. Juggling wearing panties is easy enough: whoever buys from you first, you wear their panties first. After a while, a panty cue begins to form, so you simply tell your buyers the expected wait time until they get their panties. I’ve never had someone upset with me over how long they had to wait (although most often people don’t have to wait any longer than two weeks in my panty cue). When it comes to smell though, it can be difficult. Perhaps monitoring your own cycle and when you are most fragrant is what you want to start doing, then wearing the panties on those days. It’s not an exact science, but like I said most buyers are pretty understanding that they are buying a natural product and you can’t help too much what happens with your body (beyond eating well and exercising).

Another good thing to do is ask for feedback. I know initially I didn’t either, but after a while I got tired of sending my panties off into the wide blue yonder and never hearing about whether they were well-loved or not.

If this is a fetish interests you, asking for photo’s never hurts either! I do love the way my used panties look on buyers heads – that’s not just me though, I hope!

Until next time,

Watermarking photo’s and theft

What’s watermarking? How do you do it and what happens when you don’t…

When I first started selling my used panties online, I also started watermarking all of my photo’s straight away. I know that some seller’s don’t, which I find crazy, because it makes their photo’s easily stolen.

People can steal your photo’s to impersonate you but also to make money from your likeness (sell them to porn sites, use them to try and swindle other used panty fetishists out of their money – giving us all a bad name – and generally making your life hard).

I’ve seen a few incidence of stolen photo’s in the used panty fetish circles and it’s never nice. So how do we as a fetish community combat it? Aside from watching out for each other (which does happen, and is really lovely when it does) we also need to make our image less tempting to steal.

The easiest way to do this is watermarking. I know some people use photoshop/paintshop but I use paint, which comes with every windows operating system, so you already have it. My watermark is a little heart with my name in it (if you search for Belle xox it brings you to my website). You can make any text or logo your watermark.

Another option if you want to use a program on your computer, you can watermark online for free here however it takes longer.

Whatever you do, feel empowered that you’re giving these losers a kick in the ass for their trouble – and potentially more traffic for your website if your image is stolen!

“Fake” names

You have to know when you call your child Candy, she'll end up selling her used panties online someday, right? Well...

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: on my birth certificate, my name is not Belle Morgan. It's actually a name I gave myself when I entered the online used panty fetish scene. Belle is a feminine name that I felt suited me and Morgan's the name of a famous pirate. I love pirates - the way the take what they want, are who the are and don't apologise for it and of course all that damn rum doesn't hurt either!

The question of using a “fake” name* really accompanies my previous blog about showing your face when you consider all the privacy issues we encounter on the internet and in the more public/private context of how much of yourself you want to share with the whole world. The internet is making celebrities of ordinary people and I know this makes some people nervous when they think about their lives outside of their used panty kink.

I’m all for fake names used in this context. I think when a girls’ considering selling her used panties online, she has to consider that she may only be a small-time used panty seller who sells used panties for a couple of months – or she may turn into a massive panty goddess selling so many panties that you have wait lists that are months long (hey – I’ve seen it!) so if you love what you’re doing and have huge wait lists you’re well known, right? Do you want people in your non-used panty fetish life to know about this side of your life? Think of the worst fall-out that could happen, imagine it and imagine how you’d deal with it. Would having a name other than the one on your drivers’ licence reduce the risk of the worst? Of course it could!

There’s also the fun of creating a name for yourself, you can be as cheeky as you like, it doesn’t have to be a name that you’ve heard before! You can call yourself “She Devil Panty Goddess”, though perhaps not on twitter where the names have to be short. Just remember: this is meant to be fun, so have fun with it and be creative!

*-   I realise that calling the names used panty sellers use for their online personas “fake” is inaccurate because they’re real names just like any other, but they’re being used instead of the name of their drivers licence.

Self shot photo tips

I know when I first started selling panties it was difficult to take decent  self-shot panty photos. Let me share a few secrets with you I’ve learned since then…

I remember contemplating entering the online used panty fetish scene as a used panty seller for a while before I decided it was time to “just do it”. It was late one night and I didn’t realise there was a timer on my camera, so I just got myself up (after reading a few used panty sellers blogs for the 100th time) and started taking photo’s by holding the camera in place away from my body and pressing a button.

The picture’s are okay – nothing fantastic – but okay.

I got better, first through discovering the timer settings on my camera and by playing with different poses.

I know for me, I have huge hang-ups about my tummy, so I will shoot almost anything but my tummy, but then you get so many photo’s of a girl from half way through her hip down that I thought my buyers must be getting bored.

I was dating a guy for a while who would critique my photo’s, not much because he wanted to keep seeing them, but he’d point out little things I should try and change and so I did.

I’ve done some experimenting with taking photo’s on a bed, on chairs, etc. but for me when I started to now, I think there’s been some improvement. I still love taking selfies, but have trouble finding the time! Perhaps some more encouragement on twitter will find me posting more pictures of myself! ;)

General Advice:

-          Don’t just focus on the panties, try to show more skin (thighs, legs, tummy if you’re not too self-conscious).
-          Ask someone what they think of the photo’s and get some honest criticism
-          When people buy your panties, offer them some photo’s with the panties, they’ll love it and it will give you a chance to do more practice
-          Find the timer on your camera – best invention ever!
