Non-buyer & Time waster: What’s the difference?

Twitter’s full of them: panty sellers complaining about time wasters, warning others to stay away from this guy! Not all people approaching you who don’t buy are time wasters though and it’s important to see the difference if you want to be a successful used panty seller!

I see a non-buyer as being different to a time waster because usually a non-buyer although not ready to buy yet, doesn’t want as much from you. He genuinely wants a friendly hello or to get to know you better, he’s the guy who’ll add you to twitter and chat to you occasionally. He’s not eager to buy yet, but he’s not taking up much of your time and energy anyway, and he may even be making you smile so you don’t mind that he’s not buying your used panties!

Then there’s plenty of guys who come in, talking about their fetishes and how all your fetishes just match and isn’t it wonderful and they want you to send them panties, but oh wait – no they can’t because they don’t like your payment methods, they don’t want the wife to find the panties they bought, they respect you too much to treat you like a sex object or they just don’t have the cash right now. This is after eating up as much of your time online as they possibly could and asking as many probing personal questions as they could so they could “get to know you better”.

The truth is this guy’s a time waster. He doesn’t want your panties, chances are he doesn’t even share the fetish. He just wants to talk to a pretty girl because pretty girls just won’t talk to him in real life –or even online – wonder why pretty girls wouldn’t want to talk to a guy who was that self-obsessed and needy?

The best way to deal with a time waster is to just ignore them when you find out what they are, if there’s an option to block, do it! They’re not going to give you anything in the way of positive energy and are going to detract from the fun of selling panties, don’t feel mean when getting rid of them. They wouldn’t feel mean getting rid of you if you didn’t serve there means.

It may seem hard in the beginning to spot the difference between the two and occasionally if you’ve got enough time wasters trying to suck at your energy it can be easy to over-look other people, that’s why it’s important when someone is taking, taking, taking from you that you just block them. It might be hard at first, but after the first few it gets much easier seeing how much better you feel!

Look after yourself – the used panty business has taught me a whole lot about the flow of energy between people and how to spot those that just want to take, you can learn this too and let it make powerful positive changes in your life and used panty business!

How to not let selling slumps get to you: six useful tips

Slumps are normal in the panty selling business, the trick is to not let them get to you, here’s how:

Imagine you were a buyer: what would you want?
How much would you want to know about a seller? How much would you want to talk to her? Would you buy from a girl on twitter or would you want to see a website set up to know she was serious? Would you want to know she had been selling for a while to know she’s committed and serious about her used panty fetish? Would you want to verify her or see she had been verified? Would you want to see reviews? What payment methods would you want to see her using and be comfortable using yourself?
These are all valid questions: make sure you cater to your sellers, and they’ll be good to you in turn!

Don’t lower your standards
If you’ve set your prices at a certain amount or your standards of buyers as being someone you enjoy talking to or can enjoy sharing your fetish with, don’t lower your prices or standards for potential used panty buyers. This is about having fun and lowering your standards is going to make it a whole lot less fun by making you feel like you are really struggling.
Also take note!: You will receive a lot of SPAM and mail from people who’ve not respected you enough to read your profile or ads and those that are lonely or bored and really just want your attention and time and don’t want to give back by giving you positive attention, just ignore this. They’re not committed enough to keep annoying you, but if you engage with them they will drain your energy and nothing will make you feel worse! (Will be discussed further in next weeks post addressing time wasters).

Aim for repeat business
I always aim to make my buyers happy. It’s true, this can be trying at times and sometimes you’re just not a good fit for a buyer, he may not enjoy your scent, taste or might not like your taste in panties after all! It can be hard for buyers to find the right seller, but when they find her, they can be very loyal!
When someone buys your panties, give them the wonderful customer service they deserve, the kindness and kinkiness they need (or, the sadistic thrills if they’re looking for a panty mistress) and make sure they’re enjoying themselves! Be true to yourself too of course. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Don’t lose sight that this is supposed to be about fun!
If buyers are happy, they will return and you won’t have to worry about sales!

Advertise more (or more effectively!)
If you’re not selling any panties, perhaps you are advertising in the wrong places or not advertising effectively enough. It’s time to look into what other successful used panty sellers are doing.
Twitter’s a great place to advertise, so’s Panty Sphere. There are also private membership site’s like Panty Zoo that are worth a mention.
I found my very first buyer on fetlife, although it’s better used to connect with other kinky people than to sell panties, I used it in my personal life for the same reasons and still love using it (and all the porn you can look at once you’re a paid member: YUM!)

Get verified
Speaking from a personal perspective, Panty Trust are a wonderful verification service: You’ll never have to worry about “I need to verify you on cam!” comments again, and they increase your sales and website traffic (as well as twitter followers of course!)

Take a break: read a book
Patience is important, if you haven’t been selling used panties for very long, breaks between sales can be long and although you might get a lot of interest, you won’t receive as many sales early on.
So, instead of letting yourself be upset about things, do other things you enjoy for a while, still maintain your presence online but pay attention to your own needs too. Do you need to get some more exercise in? Do some reading? Spend time with friends? It’s best to not look at panty selling as a full-time job: it doesn’t make enough money to be anything near full-time and besides, it’s taxing work at times. Do something for you and when you’re fresh, you’ll be ready to take on Pantyland!

I hope this advice helps. See you all next week!

First seller seeking advice on the online used panty trade

Hey Belle,

I want to start selling my underwear online. I think I could make a lot of money from it and it’s something easy enough to do. I want to ask my boyfriend if it’s okay but am not sure how. If you were me, how would you do it?

-Becky

Hello Becky!

Thank you for being the first person to ask for advice!

Before considering your boyfriend and his feelings, consider your own. Does the idea of a stranger buying your used panties over the internet get you hot? Will you be happy knowing that your used panties have found a new home with a fetishist who’ll really appreciate them? If not, you’re entering into selling your used panties for the wrong reasons.

Panty sellers don’t make that much money, it’s a market littered with girl’s who started with a whole lot of enthusiasm and quickly fizzled out, there’s a reason for that.

Selling used panties takes more work than would appear for fewer returns. You’re spending time, money and energy cultivating a web presence to promote yourself and your used panties and most buyers will stay away until you’ve been proven as reliable and as a genuine panty fetishist.

If selling your panties online isn’t something that gets you hot and makes you happy it’s not something you’ll stick to, so like all the other girls before you you’ll spend all that time, energy and money only to leave the used panty fetish selling community and your personal resources behind.

If money is an issue right now, my advice is get a traditional job to pay your bills. You can then have the leisure to find the things that do make you happy!
