Payment methods for selling your used panties

It’s important to use payment processors that allow adult transitions just as it is important to use safe payment processors that don’t charge huge fees to the used panty buyer or seller. Want to know who to avoid and who to use? Keep reading…

Selling used panties is classed as an adult transaction by payment processors because of its nature as a fetish. It’s important to use payment processors that allow adult transactions for adult fetishes as often the consequences for attempting to still use payment processors that don’t allow for adult transactions despite the fact that they don’t allow it can result in having your accounts frozen and large fines against your name (up to a few hundred dollars!) both Paypal and Payza/AlertPay are payment processors who don’t allow adult transactions in their terms and conditions. Used panty buyers and sellers can’t say they’ve not had fair waning – there’s more than enough information about this online and here I am blogging again!

Need to know about payment methods that are popular and do allow for adult transactions?:

Payoneer
Available worldwide and working in US currency this is the payment processor I use for my used panty selling!
Payoneer is a pre-paid MasterCard used by partner companies to pay salaries and to pay for services. The card can be used at any ATM and can also be used to purchase goods anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
You need to sign up with a partner organisation to get started. Payoneer has partners in adult entertainment and fetish. One that’s big in panty circles is Panty Zoo for those that use it.
The best part for used panty sellers though is that payoneer have a system where a buyer can load money directly from their debit/credit card onto a sellers payoneer card. It’s safe, reliable and the fees are lower than other payment methods fees! All monies are usually received within three working days.
To send the used panty seller money, buyers only need her email address, payoneer also don’t provide the used panty seller with any information that can identify the buyer so it’s safe and private for used panty buyers and sellers!
Pros: safe and secure, private, low fees, card balance statement online.
Cons: Not very well known outside of veteran used panty buyers, new buyers can be sceptical.

Bank transfer
Not something I use personally but it’s very popular with some sellers (especially for used panty sellers in the UK for some reason!)
The only things buyers need for this method is the account number and sort code. Transfers can be done online or in branch depending on the buyer, their preferences and account set up.
Buyers do not need any further information, if they ask for it, ask why. Cash transfers into bank accounts can attract less questions from the bank if the bank’s asking for details you don’t want to give a used panty buyer (like your legal name, for example). Also be aware that some banks will give your full legal name to the buyer when they go to make payment, this is an anti-fraud measure.
Pros: quick & easy, money’s there when you need it in your bank account.
Cons: potential risk to personal privacy.

Amazon wishlists
Amazon wishlists are very popular these days, you can add anything you like from clothes to shoes to books to gardening supplies.
Some sellers use their Amazon wishlists as a way to trade their panties for other items that they need or want. A buyer will go to a list and buy an item worth what they would pay for panties, then the seller will prepare the panties for the buyer and ship the panties when the seller receives her amazon item.
Be wary though about buyers cancelling orders after they receive their panties, or ordering things that are our of stock: neither of you wants to wait until it’s back in stock again, do you?
Pros: everyone likes receiving little presents in the post and this way you can get exactly what you want.
Cons: It can take a while for something to get to you, if it’s sold out even longer. Sending panties before you receive your items can have some buyers cancelling orders.

Concealed cash
Something I’ve never done however some do find this method quite useful. They ask a used panty buyer to send the cash for panties to their address of PO. Box in a way that it’s not obvious to mail carriers that the envelope contains cash.
It’s a good idea to ask the buyer to get a tracking number on the concealed cash so you both know where it is and if it gets lost!
Pros: you get hard cash which is much easier to spend than online cash
Cons: potential privacy risk or risk of monies getting lost in the mail.

There are of course other payment methods that used panty sellers and buyers use however these are the most popular methods I see most girls using so obviously they all work (or at least work for some). If you have any other payment methods you’d like me to blog about please comment.

Verification:I'll show you who I am! ;)

Today I’m going to address the issue of verification. Although I know every seller will have a different take on this, I’m coming from my own unique perspective and will be discussing my personal experiences.

I started selling my used panties over a year ago, with a blog and a dream, I didn’t know much about using twitter then so resorted to the fetish site’s that I’d known from my life in the fetish scene.
I quickly found that not everyone who came to me was interested in buying (see: Non-buyers & Time wasters: what’s the difference). It was hard to focus on those that were genuine when I had a flood of not genuine people contacting me, as happens when you first start selling panties online. New girls seem to get much more attention than sales in their first few months, after that it peeters out a bit and you get more sales as buyers are more familiar with you and you have a positive reputation.

When I started I had men contacting me off the bat accusing me of being an imposter, after accusing me they asked me to provide them with photo’s or to “cam verify”. I found this quite offensive and honestly very silly on their part, who would respond to that kind of criticism let alone take time out of their day to provide “proof” that they were who they said they were.

After this, I took a step back and thought about things. Sure these people were entitled to know who I was if they were wanting to buy my used panties, and I didn’t mind showing those that were genuine, but proving who I was to everyone who asked would take so much time that I didn’t have. I didn’t want verification to take time away from all the other parts of my used panty selling business that I needed to improve on and promote.

Right when I was thinking about this, I started reading about Panty Trust; they are an independent customer advocacy organisation that works in the used panty selling community with used panty buyers and sellers to promote trust. They verified girls (thank god! The time and energy I’d save!), provided each other with support and assistance to promote and improve our panty selling businesses’ and advocated for fairness and trust within the used panty fetish community.

The best part of Panty Trust through for me was that potential buyers didn’t have to ask. They would just see the seal on my page and know, so they never had to let me know that they were apprehensive (as I know they are anyway, but it’s nerve-wracking for the guys’ who’ve perhaps not found a way to enjoy their fetish until now, at least they didn’t have to deal with verifying as well!)

Of course the other benefits that girls talk about were there too: more hits on my website and more sales, but mostly, I’m just relieved that I don’t have to verify myself every single time and that I’m now more a part of the used panty selling fetish community!

Using Twitter to market yourself and your used panty buisiness

Twitter is a very popular platform for many people and businesses nowadays. Within used panty circles though, it’s gaining more and more popularity as a fun way to promote yourself and your used panties, network and make friends in the used panty fetish community. Here's how to make it work for you and your used panty buisiness!

Twitter’s a great place to build a space you want to be in: following people and organisations you want to network with or befriend and opening yourself for others’ to do the same with you. It’s important to remember all relevant organisations and people on twitter, and to follow any you find interesting. This not only helps you make twitter into a space you want to be in but also makes you more visible for other used panty buyers and sellers.

Twitter is not, however, a place to be picky with who you talk to*. If someone starts a conversation with you, you should continue that conversation as conversations are what twitters' all about and being friendly and open is what you need in the twittersphere to be successful.

Twitter can be a valuable marketing tool for your products (advertising individual used panties, digital content, dirty socks, smelly stockings, sweaty pantyhose, and other fetish items) but it’s important not to get too caught up with straight advertising. Show a little personality on twitter also, because personality keeps things interesting and lets your buyers know that you’re a real person!

What I do, when I have the time to do so (which varies depending on what I’m doing and how hard I want to promote my items) is using my account at Hoot Suite to promote my panties in peak times when I know they will get the most views and just tweeting normally all the rest of the time.
Hoot Suite is a website that you link to your twitter account (and other social media sites like facebook) and set up a schedual for your used panty ads (also any other ads for fetish items and fetish clothing) to be advertised. It can be quite time-consuming to do the set up but it is worth it in my experience.

Using images – which is something I need to do more of – to promote yourself on twitter is also a good idea because people are visual and want to see what you have to offer, it’ll also more likely to be re-tweeted by others.

Be careful though – twitters addictive, take it from someone who knows! I spend more time on there than anywhere else online because it can be so much fun!

Follow me & this website for more updates on used panty sellers advice

*Like anything, there may be not-so-nice people there who you perhaps shouldn’t communicate with, your intuition will tell you when to stay away however and personally I haven’t had any “get away from me” moments yet on twitter – knock on wood!

Selling used panties in person (letter to Belle Morgan seeking advice)

Hi Belle,

Congrats on the new site!

I wanted to start advertising to sell my panties to guys in person and was using craigslist but my ads keep being taken down. Have you used craigslist and sold your panties in person?

From Val

Hello Val!

Thanks – the sites a work in progress! I hope it helps new sellers the same way similar sites helped me when I started!

Although I prefer to sell online because I’m an avid traveller and can sell my panties from anywhere in the world, I think that meeting people to sell your panties is totally valid if the seller’s smart about it. Safety first and general common sense would go a long way.

Craigslist don’t allow this type of transaction, which would explain why they keep taking down your ads. Feel free to keep trying, I’m not going to tell you not to, but look for other ways to advertise in your city because it sounds like this one isn’t working as well as you’d like it to.

To answer your questions, I did try selling my panties in person, I used a few methods to advertise but found the same two problems with all of them: 1) there were a bigger proportion of time wasters approaching me. 2) I had fears about my safety and most of the people approaching were suggesting things I wasn’t comfortable with: meet me in a parking lot, meet me right now (first email), drop your panties off to me in my home, etc. etc.

I’m not going to rattle off safety tips in regards to meeting someone online in person, you can find those anywhere on the internet and you will know to listen to your intuition to tell you when a situation isn’t safe anyway.

Make sure you thoroughly screen the buyers (give your intuition a chance to work), ensuring you are totally happy and comfortable selling to them and don’t accept a cheque – most businesses don’t nowadays anyway.

Selling panties is about fun (hell, we don’t make much money off it!), so go out and have fun! Let me know how you go as well, I’m sure you’d have much more interesting – and hot – fetish stories doing this in person than over a computer!
